A little about me, I'm a seasoned musician, hailing from western Michigan. My musical journey began early in life, playing multiple instruments as a child, through school and then in the USAF, where I played guitar in the rock band Pi while stationed in Dover, Delaware from 1995 to 1998. I continued my musical pursuits by joining the rock band Blystre with Greatland Records from 1998 to 2005.
In more recent years, I have made a mark on the Greensboro, NC music scene, first as part of the duo Michy & Tony in 2019 and later as part of the duo Tony & Katy from 2019 to 2022. Currently, I showcase my talents as a solo acoustic musician in Greensboro, NC and surrounding areas, performing a mix of original music and covers of 80s, 90s, and early 00s rock and alternative hits.
Outside of my performance career, I have also honed my skills as a studio engineer, working at Apogee Studios from 2001 to 2005 and currently at Dash Nine Studio since 2016. Additionally, I have experience as the owner of Filament Records from 2007 to 2012.
With a diverse background in music and studio engineering, I bring a wealth of experience and talent to every project I take on. Follow along with my musical journey on my website and social media channels.
I occasionally take on small recording, mixing, mastering projects. I have a pretty decent home studio where I record, mix and master and do all my voiceover work and distribute as Dash Nine Music.
