Based in Greensboro, NC, Tony Andrews is a seasoned singer-songwriter whose music blends the raw honesty of acoustic indie rock with the grit and soul of ‘90s alt rock. With over 30 years of experience, his sound is a testament to decades spent crafting songs rooted in real life, personal growth, and the power of storytelling.

A former guitarist with early-2000s rock outfit Blystre, Tony emerged as a solo artist with a voice all his own—introspective yet unafraid to confront the edges of emotion. His discography spans seven solo albums, each weaving together the threads of folk sincerity, melodic guitar work, and a subtle edge that nods to his alternative rock roots.

Whether on stage or in the studio, Tony channels life’s highs and lows into songs that resonate deeply with his audience. His lyrics speak to the everyday struggles and small victories that define the human experience, delivered through warm guitar tones and vocals that carry both strength and vulnerability.

Currently recording new material and performing across the Southeast, Tony continues to evolve as an artist—staying true to the sounds that shaped him while exploring new musical ground. For fans of heartfelt, roots-driven rock, Tony Andrews is a name to know.

I occasionally take on small recording, mixing, mastering projects. I have a pretty decent home studio where I record, mix and master and do all my voiceover work and distribute as Dash Nine Music.
